In a similar vein (badumtish) to a recent thread I saw asking about goth music recs with vampires/vampire themes im wondering what if any goth music is about werewolves or werewolf adjacent themes?

Aside of the obvious Bela Lugosi’s dead(technically not about vampires but Bela Lugosi played Dracula so it counts)

I’m Big fan of vampires in media and was looking for some goth music specifically with vampirism/vampires as a central topic.

Did any of you guys ever have any apprehensions about taking up the Goth label bc of all the stereotypes attached to it? I explained it to my family and thankfully they understand and have no issues. But I think most people have problems with seeing past stereotypes, and I don't want to be hassled by people who don't get it…. But at the same time I think telling people can create an advantage in weeding out the ones you don't wanna be friends with anyway… What are you guys experiences and thoughts?

Just with what's going on halfway round the world right now, I need to find more songs to soothe my soul, it fucking hurts waking up to hear the news.

I was trying to think about a discussion that might be fun / different for us to have. We all have wild stories. I have one about being catfished when I was 14 by someone who used photos of a vocalist from a deathrock band 😂. I’ll share my story in the comments below, what’s your story?

I just discovered this subreddit recently and I like goth music a lot. However I notice that some teenagers think it's just a fashion trend. For me it's about the music. I think the music is amazing and it has helped me recently. I just got into it and I'm 21. People tell me I'm annoying because I say that goth is about the music. I'm not telling anyone that they cant be a goth. I'm just saying they should listen to the music because to me it sounds really good and is worth getting into.

I'm not sure if my opinion is unpopular or not. I just wish I knew more people who actually listened to the music. I'm glad to have found this subreddit. I like a variety of music but mainly goth.
